Active on the market since 1992, and positioned in the first years of existence among the top insurers in Romania, the Insurance Reinsurance Company ARDAF was the first company, on the local profile market, to obtain the certification in the Quality Management System ISO 9001:2000.

At the beginning of 2007 the company was taken over by PPF Investments Group, one of the leaders in the insurance and financial markets in Central and Eastern Europe and Asia.

Reinsurance

ARDAF reinsurance program aims to protect the main insurance lines of business, which require adequate reinsurance coverage, due to their specific traits (large liability limits, short or long term liability periods, high risk degree of the insurance, risks of a catastrophic nature).

The concluded reinsurance contracts include reinsurance conditions adequate for the portfolio’s insurance categories, taking into account the trends and conjuncture on the international reinsurance market.

For concluding the reinsurance contracts reinsurers ranking first on the international market were selected. The reinsurers are rated by Standard & Poor’s and AM Best with a superior rating for financial security.
